Welcome to Day 4 of the Greenstyle Whistler Jacket Sew Along! I am so glad you joined me!

You can watch today’s video HERE.

Today’s task is to sew the hood or collar of the jacket, insert the zipper, and sew the bottom band. The bottom band can be made with a stretchy knit like ribbing or supplex, or you can do a band with your main fabric, like stretch woven, by using the drawstring waistband.

If you have not purchased your pattern, it is not too late to join us. You can purchase your pattern here. Use code WhistlerSAL for 25% off through April 11th.

The Schedule

Here is what this week’s schedule will look like:

  • Day 1: Pick fabric, cut your pattern out, and then cut your fabric
  • Day 2: Sew the front, steps 1-5
  • Day 3: Sew the back, attach sleeves, and finish body, steps 6-16
  • Day 4: YOU ARE HERE – Sew the collar or hood, bottom band, and insert the zipper, steps 17-26
  • Day 5: Topstitching details and finishing sleeves, steps 27-32
  • Day 6: Catch up, take a photo of your finished jacket, and share it with me!

See you back tomorrow!!
