Today’s task is to sew the front of the jacket! You have the option of sewing the front with or without pockets. I say the pockets are essential, and they are not so hard to do at all.

The Schedule

Here is what this week’s schedule will look like:

• Day 1: Pick fabric, cut your pattern out, and then cut your fabric
• Day 2: YOU ARE HERE – Sew the front, steps 1-5
• Day 3: Sew the back, attach sleeves, and finish body, steps 6-16
• Day 4: Sew the collar or hood, bottom band, and insert the zipper, steps 17-26
• Day 5: Topstitching details and finishing sleeves, steps 27-32
• Day 6: Catch up, take a photo of your finished jacket, and share it with me!
