Before leaving for vacation a few weeks ago, my daughter requested that I sew her a new swimsuit. She had outgrown all of her suits from last year, and she had her eye on a specific fabric in my stash!

I showed her all of the patterns that I had for swimsuits, and her favorite by far was the Striped Swallow Into the Blue pattern. She was so excited that I had time to make her one before we left, and I just love how cute this suit is on her!!

I made myself and my oldest daughter swimsuits from this pattern last year. You can read that blogpost and my review HERE.

My oldest daughter’s suit from last year still fits her wonderfully and is one of her favorites. I have lost weight, though, so mine no longer fits. Guess this means I will need to make another one ASAP!

The pattern has different options of ties that you can use for the front bodice. When my daughter was boogie boarding and playing, though, I would notice she would often take her tie off so that it wasn’t bothering her.

Thanks for stopping by today. This post will be short and sweet, but be on the lookout for my next post! I plan to tackle my tips for travelling internationally with a bunch of kids. You won’t want to miss it!
